I'm sorry to all of the ladies on the forum that I missed it, but ironically enough, I was having dinner with a few coworkers on that night. By the time we arrived at Geoffrie's, I was on the verge of tears, because I didn't think we'd have a decent table. But we do, and relief washed over me, in an awesome wave.

A buddy was talking about some problem in air travel, and I couldn't help but pipe up and say, "Come on, there's a lot more to worry about than airline issues of tardiness?"

He retors, "Like what?"

I told him, 'Well, we have to end apartheid for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race with Korea and other problematic nations, stop terrorism and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people."

Two of the three guys laughed, and one of the men acutally commended me. It must have been women's day fever, but I felt it necessary to quote Ellis on this topic of how to improve the world.

I don't know, so, Happy WOmen's INternational Day, I guess. COuld be a coicndence.
