(i would have made a poll but i'm not good with narrowing options)

my fav song is probably Til we run out of road because i cant really relate to the lyrics or anything but I LOVE to sing it she does an awesome job on it!!

Morning Song, or near Your Always or You Were Meant For Me.

I like Near You Always becasue the lyrcis are SO provocative, "You're hands are in my hand but my haeart is in your teeth, and it makes me want to make you near me always." SO SWEET! That's definitely one of the most beauatiful things I've ever heard.

I genuinely can't answer that. I play Jewel in my car almost all the time. Because most of my journey's are around an hour each way, I play lots and lots of Jewel in my car. I am mainly alone when I listen to Jewel so I sing along to absolutely every single song. It's hard to pic a favourite. But I suppose I would rather sing the ones I find easiest. In which case, Foolish Games, Who Will Save Your Soul?, Good Day, Drive to You, Studies in Love #12 and Grey Matter.

Of course when I'm really upbeat, Race Car Driver, Sometimes it be that Way and Love me Just Leave me alone.

See? I told you this was hard. Just look at her catalogue.

Gosh, it really depends on the day and my mood. Lately I've been needing to belt out "Good Day" to remind me that its all gonna be alright. I happen to also really love "Morning Song" cuz its so sweet and who doesn't want to just go back to bed with their sweet heart! Am I right??

i cant say that i sing Jewel out loud. If anyone heard me theyd definitely tell me to shut up and would probably think i was gay, which im not. The only time you'll ever hear me sing Jewel or anything else is if i know that im alone n that no one could hear me. Not gonna say which songs i would sing to cuz thatd be even more embarrasing hehe WOW i must really care about waht people think of me.

I guess my favorite ones to sing are "Angel Needs A Ride", "Deep Water", "Don't" and "Under The Water" because those are the ones I can sing while still actually sounding good. :dazzler1: There's certain Jewel songs I love but are very hard for me to sing without my voice cracking because they're so high, like "Angel Standing By" and "Foolish Games". "Cold Song" is also another toughie. Fun but challenging!

it's definately Down So Long for me, not sure why.. a lot of Jewel's songs I don't think sound right when sung by a man, but there's a few I think are capable of a deeper voice singing.. the only song I really sing out loud is Down So Long.
And about singing in public, I don't sing anything in public haha that priveledge is reserved for the car and the shower

I suppose it's harder for guy's to sing Jewel songs,as a lot of her lyrics are based on her life etc,and therefore have a female perspective,so i only find myself singing Jewel songs on my own,or with my wife present,i've never sang one of her songs,(yet) at a party etc,but i am determined to do it soon.
I love playing my guitar and singing Foolish Games,Deep Water,GAIW and Break Me especially,but i have to find the right time to do it in front of some friends.
I sang a few songs with a guitar in a wee Greek bar in Crete 2 years ago,i was really nervous,but it was a great buzz,so i am going back this year and i have promised myself i will perform Foolish Games this year,my goodness,what have i let myself in for ?
I will let you all know in the summer if i actually do it.

P.S. I have a new Avator of Jewel with her JKSM guitar,not sure if anyone else has this one,if so,sorry,i don't want to steal or copy another members picture,so let me know if you already have it and i can change it,thanks !

:post-69220-11406689Thanks Gary,probably like all the other JKF members,i have got loads of Jewel pics saved onto my computer,and she looks amazing in all of them,so it's difficult to choose one to use as an avator.
Also,i love all the fancy moving pictures that other clever members can do,but i'm limited on a computer,so i will just renew my photo's every so often for a change.
