Wiki's look

So I want to update the look of the JewelWiki for its one year birthday. I really value the input of everyone here at this forum, so before unveiling it as the default look, I wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

Some reasoning behind the change for those who care, I'm trying to make this more universal (in the sense that it shows up okay on everyone's monitor). I have a widescreen laptop and at work the resolution's so high that I can see everything. When I looked at it for the first time on my parents computer though, I had to scroll left to right to see everything and I didn't realize that that might be a problem on some people's monitors. I personally hate it when I have to scroll left to right on a webpage so I thought I'd try to fix it so that won't happen, no matter what size monitor you use. :) Let me know what y'all think of the new look/colors. :D And any suggestions or criticisms would be appreciated.

I like it very much. It is definitely nicer than before. It's nice that it doesn't look like most wiki pages now. It stands out as something different. Good work Robby.

yah i like the older one better too. the new one actually looks like it should be the old one and the old one looks newer.

Sorry to keep bumping this thread and shamelessly promoting the wiki, I'm just excited about today's update. :)

I've launched the new theme as the default (though there is an option to switch back to the old theme if you choose). I've also added a new feature where anyone can post a "News" item to let people know of upcoming Jewel-related events. These will show up on the front page, have their own "digest" page, and be archived as more are added. :)

Hope you all find these new features useful (and be on the look out for some upcoming surprises)!

p.s. Mario--are the pictures showing up for you? The picture that was in the original theme should show up as well as a few rotating pictures on the left.

The News section is a great idea. I'll update whenever I can.
