She does indeed sing "All By Myself" for the movie clueless. It did not make it to the soundtrack somehow! I'd love to hear the full version...There is a copy floating around on the internet with audio from the movie (Alicia Silverstone talking--she's actually thinking in the scene--over Jewel's singing).

I haven't seen Clueless in years and I really like that movie. I must pay more attention to the music though. I knew she was on the soundtrack and it was probably mentioned tonnes of times what she sang on the soundtrack but I have a terrible memory.

I must get that movie out again just to hear it. I know i've never heard it only for the movie when I was never paying attention to who sang it. Doh. Makes me think what else am I missing.

She did sing it in clueless, but the song he's used in the video is not Jewel, though. You can definitely tell listening to it. I was trying to find a sample from Celine Dion's album on amazon.com but couldn't.

I'm embarrassed to say, I know that album only too well (the Celine Dion one). I was subjected to listening to it on many trips to the beach with a friend and her family over YEARS. They adored Celine Dion and Garth Brooks. I really am embarrassed to say, I know pretty much all the words to any Celine Dion or Garth Brooks song up until about 2000. *hangs head in shame* LOL

I remember once we discussed this on the EDA list and Mike, the list owner, or Mr.BB, I can't remember, said there was no full recording of Jewel's version of All By Myself avaiable. So, yeah, we'll probably never hear any more of it.
