Jewel - iTunes Originals.. ?..

I want Jewel to do an iTunes originals. She is the type of artist they even do iTunes Originals for. A lot of my favorite artists have done it. Aimee Mann, Death cab for Cutie, Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple, and there's tons more that I haven't even looked at.
For those that don't know what it is.. iTunes Originals is an album specifically for the iTunes music store where they bring the artist in their studio and the artist talks about how they got started, the meaning of their music, etc, and then record a few songs live acoustic and then they put a few songs from different albums (usually their most recent). But they are great to listen to, mainly for fans.
But I was wondering if there's a way we can contact her management or some other way to see if we can persuade them to get Jewel to do one.
Any suggestions??

Yep, I do and I will. She is managed by Azoff Music Management and I have direct contact with them.

I always pass on things like this but never guarantee anything as they can't either. If I ever hear anything back, I always let people know.

Hey Kiera, you could tell them to let Jewel come to Brazil, huh? We have some pretty big festivals here that bring all kinds of artists and she'd be perfect for them!

That would be great if it would work! Jewel could put songs like violet eyes or something as specialtrack to it, like Evanescence had done it with The Last Song Im Wasting On You. Kiera can i ask you a question ? =)

Because I am a moderator on Jewel's message board on her Official fan club "Unedited".

I stay in regular contact with 'them' and also MusicToday's fan club director, tech support and of course, Unedited's club manager.

Although I have contact with these people, knowing this is not an opportunity for everyone to send me questions, suggestions, request etc to pass on. It's also worth noting, that as much as I wish I had, I have no direct contact with Jewel herself :( but it would be great if I did.

I wonder how they choose artists for iTunes Originals... maybe there is some sort of online petition or something or a way to contact apple with suggestions. Maybe they take suggestions and then contact the artist... I will have to look into this.

No, you're fine. I've mentioned this before. It's no secret but I don't bring much attention to it.

I just need to make things clear coz I could get a flood of emails and requests to send on and I won't be able to do that. Some here or there are alright but I don't want to abuse the fact that I have this connection or I could lose it.

Hey Gary, is there a certain place on iTunes you go to find these 'iTunes Originals'? Or is it just included when you search by artist? Thanks for the info...

there is a section that lists all the itunes originals. when u are at the main page go to the MUSIC section (b/c the main page has a little bit of everything) and then on the MUSIC main page there should be a link for iTunes Originals. It's cool they ever let you buy just the originals versions of the songs, but if you want the interview tracks you have to buy the whole thing, but they are worth it. I have 3 of them whole (Aimee Mann, Death Cab for Cutie and Fiona Apple) and I downloaded some of the originals tracks from Alanis Morissette, they are all awesome. :) If you can't find them Christie let me know & I will help you.
