New!!! Flower Skin

I've created a new skin. It's called Flower Skin.

It is more in keeping with the Goodbye Alice in Wonderland theme.

It is still a work in motion as I look for some inspiration for buttons but I am very much open to suggestions. After all, it's you guys that will be looking at it and it will be the theme of the forum so it needs to be good.

I tell ya, it took longest trying to get the flower tile just right and almost as long trying to track down a font as close to the album font. I guess I'm just fussy.

The buttons are just the software but I will definitely be changing those. Mainly just the Post Reply buttons etc. The other buttons at the end of posts 'edit' and 'quote' will remain.
I also realise there are a couple of font colour issues and I'm still working around them

But I got impatient, I could have waited til it was completed but I just couldn't. I personally love this skin more than any skin I've done before and so I just had to get it out there as soon as it was acceptable.

Seriously though, if there's anything you think you'd like changed, please let me know.

ok, it's nearly 1am here and I need to leave for work in just over 6 hours. I need to try and get some sleep. Damn lucky if I get 5 full hours of shut eye.

lovely Kiera and the font is as close as you can get i think. The one on the album (i think) is specially created, ie hand drawn.

i dont mind the floers at all, its kinda homely :)

Thanks Dave. Coming from you, that means a lot.

I decided to fix the background instead of have it free scrolling. It was a bit psychodelic when I was scrolling up and down the page with the busy flower pattern at first. Fixing the movement removed that issue straight away.

Took some time to match the background of the logo to be in line with the patterned background. I wanted it to be seemless and am really please with the outcome of the logo though I think it is missing something. Can't put my finger on what just yet.

I like it, it was a nice surprise when I logged on this morning. I like the font too. I like the colors better now than the last scheme

If anyone prefers the other skin, it is still available by selecting it from the list on the bottom left drop down menu. It is called "JKF GAIW"

;-) Hey its pretty cool that I can still choose between the styles! I don`t know but I personaly prefer the GAIW-Skin because the pictures are cooler, but the flowerskin is also nice =)

That's good. Eventually, (when I have the time) I'd like to do a skin for every album, including the Joy album. It's just it take a very long time to do each skin and there are a lot of factors to consider before making changes.

Please use whichever skin you prefer. You don't have to like this one, that's why I like being able to offer choices.
