US Members - I need a HUGE favour!!!

The only thing my husband wants for Christmas is a HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360.

Very few were sent to Europe and it seems most got sent to the US where it is still available.

would there be a kind hearted member out there that would be so kind as to purchase one for me and send it over.

Of course, I will send the money for it and the cost of sending it over in time for Christmas...but I'm desperate now.

I would be forever grateful to anyone who can help me!!!

Amazon doesnt have any, Did they stop making them? It says they have used ones for $247.93 dollars. I dont know, I dont like the X-box.

I will go to a store and see if they have any. If I see one, I will let you know :)

Simply...it is brand new but hard to get. Microsoft only made a limited amount and sent most of them to the US and very little to Europe. It's like when the Xbox came out. They only sent 2 to Ireland when it first came out. And luckily enough, Peter was one of them! So he was one of 2 people in ireland at the time with an Xbox.

So when this HD DVD drive was mentioned, it was too late to put him onto a waiting list and so it was a first come first server in the shops to get it and we've just been really unlucky.

I'd appreciate any help! But if you can't, I appreciate you trying. I'm currently thinking of alternative options in the event I don't get it.

I've even driven hours away to smaller stores that might have it but not successful.

Great news! Got the drive! It was really difficult and I had to pull some strings and owe some favours but I got it.

I really appreciate everyone who offered help! it was very kind of everyone here who offered to help an oul girl out.

Thats awesome Kiera, I did look but unfortunately I don't get to anywhere besides Hel-mart and they dont sell them there :( But I am glad you found one
