Well, another year that Jewel is completely ignored by the Grammys. It's not like I really care about awards and such, but when you see this:
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
(For a solo vocal performance. Singles or Tracks only.)
Ain't No Other Man
Christina Aguilera
Track from: Back To Basics
[RCA Records]
Unwritten
Natasha Bedingfield
Track from: Unwritten
[Epic/Phonogenic]
You Can Close Your Eyes
Sheryl Crow
Track from: Sheryl Crow Artist's Choice Deluxe Edition
[Hear Music/Universal Music]
Stupid Girls
Pink
Track from: I'm Not Dead
[LaFace/Zomba Label Group]
Black Horse And The Cherry Tree
KT Tunstall
[Relentless/Virgin]I think Good Day is a much better pop vocal performance than most of the songs nominated (ok, Stupid Girls?!?!). Plus, no matter what, they will nominate a Sheryl Crow song, it's a little ridiculous. I love her but she doesn't always deserve to be nominated.
Oh well... Jewel needs a huge hit to get a nomination I guess...
