Hey my fellow Jewel fans! As several of you know here, I'm a pretty big country music fan. I'm SO EXCITED that Jewel is going to make a country album and put "Stephenville, TX" on her latest album. I also dig the country vibe of the 'This Way' album.
I am a member of the CMT (country music TV)'s message boards there, and they have put up a board for Jewel there recently. I'm kind of fighting an uphill battle over there on her board to just let people know that Jewel can and has performed country music in the past, currently, and will in the future. They consider her such an "outsider" still and just don't seem to want to give her a chance....
