well, i know this album has been mentioned before, but the more i listen to it the more i smile and realise shakira isnt just a whiney girl from somewhere near mexico or brazil or something. She actually CAN sing!

shakira has always had a style that is totally unique.........or is it?........listen to her and think cranberries! dolores hmm, listen to track 5 called dont bother'
then listen to zombie by the cranberries.

mmm i love agressive women lol, perhaps thats why im marrying a russian :)

the whole album is great, track 5, track 2, track 11, and the unbeatable hips dont lie make this a fine album and very uplifting.

imagine, shakira, jewel, and amy lee all singing together :) and i didnt even mention the L Word once Kiera :)

Dave I agree, I love agressive women... women who take charge are sexy. I like Shakira's music as well. I think it's very original and I think it got this weird rep of being POP music, which it is sort of, I'll give it thatm but it really ROCKS OUT, I especially love that video where she becomes a cartoon and kicks @$$ and they show her playing the guitar in that video. YIKES! I swear if I see a woman holding/playing a guitar or either a huge machine gun or something it's a big turn on. Why don't most men like strong willed women? Guys think I am weird b/c I don't drool over all the little blonde princesses that prance around work acting like Paris Hilton...

oh and my fav songs on Oral Fixation vol 2 are #1, #6, and #7, with #7 being my favorite, but it's hard to choose, it's a really good album. But so Is Vol. 1 - you know someone has talent when they can entertain you and keep you in awe of them and you don't even understand what they are saying. hA!

Shakira and Beyonce look like sisters in their new video its scary (in positive ways ^^). But beyonce always must stay in the front row... I liked Shakiras older albums more like her spanish ones and laundry service. When she had red hair she looks much more sexier IMO better than her blondecolored, what do you think?

im so glad this Shakira album thread has been reopened.

i have it again in my car and hot damn she can sing. I love the remix of Dont Bother.

Played slightly too loud whilst driving on campus this morning though lol, as i drove past the security gates at 8.15am got some 'what the hell' looks :) but hey! "dont bother, ill be fine" :P

And Mario i love the pic of Shakira with purple hair, amazing looking. Lets hope she dosent do a Britney.................come to think about it, no that would never happen as shes talented, CAN sing, and has people around her to protect her from the media wolves.

I cant wait for her next album, think shes great.
