Maybe, just maybe, with America voting like we have in this election, the dixie chicks can make a return to radio. They merely said what most of us had been thinking. Only they got a coporate blacklist, unlike ALL others who do speak out against Bush. Hell, i dont think Mel Gibson got it this bad for his comments and he insulted a whole religion of people.
Have any of you guys checked out the girls new CD. It rocks!!!

I love the Dixie Chicks, my fav songs on the new cd are BITTER END, everybody knows, I LIKE IT, and the long way around. the whole cd is awesome, oh and I HOPE of coarse but I like the Katrina Relief version better than the album version. My favorite song by them ever is TOP OF THE WORLD and the video to go along with it is awesome as well.

Of course they got it worse. They are COUNTRY singers. They are based around the country. Bush is the leader of the country. You know those county red neck types. They are stupid. They like Bush just because he is the president. I hate red necks! They are so stupid! If they liked there music they would buy there CD's no matter what. There New album hit number 1! Stupid rednecks! How do you like that?!

When are they going to release a 2nd single? I hope it is easy scilence.

i think they picked Voice Inside My Head to be the second single. Bush is now the leader with slim to no political power behind him. Yeah buddy!!!
I was truly torn with who to vote for on VH1 for awhile for videos... NRTMN had a killer run... My favs from that CD are Bitter End, Favorite Year, and Lubbock. The chicks rule!! The A&A tour was killer too!

I kind of thought that 'I Like it' would be the next single only b/c I heard it playing on wal-mart radio one night and I was like whatttt? but I don't think it will, for some reason I think they randomly play songs from new albums which is odd..... one night I heard them playing Hump De Bump from the Chili Peppers new album Stadium Arcadium and so I thought maybe that was going to be their 3nd single after Dani Calif. but it turned out to be Tell Me Baby.... whatever it's all good, whatever single the Dixie Chicks choose will be good b/c the whole album is great.
Isnt Bitter End the perfect song for friendships that go bad? I think so b/c I have had so many.... it's just a great song.

ha one funny thing I want to add about the Dixie Chicks.. I used to work in this gas station in the middle of the ghetto, and this was back when HOME just came out and so of coarse I would play that cd and really annoy the crap out of my customers (they werent particularly into country) and this other dude worked there as well part time so he was there for maybe 3 hours a night every few nights, but he worked on the floor cleaning and stocking alchohol and stuff while I was behind the counter w/ the cd player.... and he made some comment one night about the hillbilly music I was playing and it pissed me off so naturally I played out both Dixie Chicks cd's and especially songs like "Tortured, Tangled Hearts" and "Lil Jack Slade" which of coarse annoyed the living hell out of him even more... hA!

If you haven't seen them in concert it's a must. It was so awesome when I saw them in San Antonio a few years ago. I got really good seats, due to pure luck on ticket master. They made sure the crowd was having a really good time plus Michelle Branch opened for them.

They came to St. Louis, but I didnt go. I would of liked to, but I wouldnt die if I didnt go like I would for Jewel.

Hey did anyone hear that the dixie chicks are breaking up? I heard and read in a tabloid that Emily & Martie are sick of Natalie and are through with her and her mouth. I am wondering if there's any facts to back up this story???
