On the Enigma Message Board, a member there, Genesis posted this cool link to a face recognition site

It's completely pointless but kinda interesting.

You upload a pic of yourself then it scans to see what famous people you look like.

For the laugh, I ran Jewel's through it just to see if she looked like herself. LOL. The first pic I used brought up no results that she looked like herself. I tried a different one and yay - she looks like herself. Phew! She also looks like Denise Richards - Apparently! Oh and surprise, she looks like Renee Zellwegger! And Meredith Monroe, Christina Applegate and Marcia Cross ( who incidentally, I apparently look like)

Unfortunately, you have to sign up. I just put in some bogus information. It doesn't require email activation so I didn't put in a real email address either.

Try a different photo. Only use a photo with just you in it. When there is more than 1 person, the software gets confused.

Use a photo that is front facing and takes up most of the picture. The Jewel picture I used at first drew no matches either but it wasn't a very clear photo. Which is why I used the one above.

Shawn - I only know Rachel Stevens and KD Lang out of the list you mentioned. LOL!

it says use a close up photo with a straight face and this is the photo I used and it came up with nothing.....

I tried to use another photo but it was doing something stupid and being slow and I got kind of fed up with it and just closed it out... I suppose I could try it again... maybe when I have more patience.

chris you ran my thug with dasani picture? ha ha i didnt think that one would be clear enough ha ha h or I mean close enough to my face... and with my eyes all squinty like that i'm surprised it didnt bring up some asian celebrities.... jet lee or somebody.. ok now i have to go try another picture and see for myself.... does it give you a picture to save? or do you have to like take a screen shot to be able to keep it???

this thing is kind of stupid I think b/c I've done it like 2 different times plus Chris did mine once and it's always different, and I did my wifes pic twice and it's always different... if you notice, they only match if you mare making the same facial expression or are turned the same way... so I don't really think it means anything... like for instance look @ this one I did of me cheesin all crazy... (it's funny though b/c I matched w/ Jewel's cousin)

Yeah I know. It did the same for me too. It's just a bit of fun though. I never took it that serious or anything.

Well now you can tell everyone that you've been told you look like John Travolta or Jessica Alba. Neither are bad to say even if one of them is a girl.

But I will be honest. The Bob Saget one is hilarious.
