how do I delete a post?
I was going to delete a comment in the pictures thread but can't find a way to do this..

Simple answer is that you can't delete your own posts. If you need to delete a post, you can edit it with a comment of 'please delete' and either myself, Dave or Lissa will delete it for you.

I don't care to delete my own posts. I just want to delete other people's posts. :P

To be honest, it is more a security thing. If it was allowed, then someone can come along, reek havoc with offensive posts or whatever, then delete them all as soon as a mod or administrator shows up. This software keeps records of posts so for that reason, we don't allow it.

No need for a Poll as the current status on deleting your own posts is not going to change.

see....deleting a post can be bad....but....other forums u can = at least if it has been the last post on that thread! - but if someone already responded, then there's no reason for it to be deleted...that's how it should be....!
