Jewel is going to be presenting a petition of 12-million signatures to Capitol Hill on Wednesday on behalf of Lifetime Television's award-winning "Stop Breast Cancer for Life" public awareness campaign. The petition urges Congress to pass the bipartisan Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act of 2005...

She looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL in those photos!! What I love about Jewel is that she's beautiful INSIDE & out. Does anyone know if Jewel is or was close to anyone who's had breast cancer?? I was just curious.

I don't believe she has been directly but she has been very close to people who have died of other forms of cancer. BUt as a woman, you can't help but care about this subject.

That's quite a bling she has on her right hand. Pity it isn't her left, then we'd all be jumping around wondering if Ty Finally proposed!!



Is it just me, or has she got thicker eyebrows than before? Funny the thing you notice.

As I'm reading through Chasing Down the Dawn, I noticed it says that Jewel's very good friend Jacque died of cancer....I wonder if it was breast cancer??? It doesn't say in the book from what I've read.
